Household Guardians is a full service aging in place consulting firm.
Offering the ACE Program for the clients, the team of aging in place specialists conducts 260-point home safety assessments, looking for safety and fall risk hazards around the exterior and interior of the home. The assessment is completed with a summary of findings and recommendations for immediate, short-term and long-term solutions. The client and/or family members design the solutions for implementation, if possible. If more extensive work is recommended, Household Guardians refers to other CAPS-certified remodelers, contractors and suppliers to secure the appropriate products and services. The goal is continued independence to remain in the home of choice for as long as possible.
In addition to the home assessments, Household Guardians offers a weekly or monthly check-in service. During the check-in, the advisor will do a quick re-assessment. This is similar to a property manager for the older adults and family members in terms of keeping the home safe and facilitating any upkeep issues. Peace of mind, reduced stress and worry are important benefits of the monthly service.
